I've always loved storytelling. Ever since I was a child.

I turned that passion into a profession working for fifteen years as a television producer and director.

Starting my career at the BBC in London, I worked on a variety of prime time entertainment programmes before moving to Sydney in 2004 where I continued working on television productions spanning various genres including the SBS show 'Who Do You Think You Are?' I have a BA degree in media and have studied at Sydney's AFTRS.

My business premise is simple. I want to provide people with affordable access to a professional media production team that honours each storyteller.

Storyteller Productions was initially born out of a desire to promote the importance of families creating their own visual time capsules and was aptly named Life Story Productions. As a mother of two, I know how easy it is to get bogged down in the tasks of everyday living and forget to drink in the moments. To lock in the memories. It's easier to push aside the thought that one day your parents won't be around. Rather than accept that they will be gone, their memories with them. I wanted to offer a life story film production service as the ultimate legacy gift to families and their future generations.

 

Our films garnered the attention of leading Australian family business Brown Brothers Wines, who asked us to document not only their family's life story, but craft business video content. We thus evolved to work with other businesses and in the process re-branded as Storyteller Productions to encompass our services crafting both life story films as well as business story videos. And when it comes to business, we are uniquely skilled at telling the story behind the brand for authentic human connection.
